The largest Day of Dance that we've ever attended took place in Stockport.
Over 50 sides dancing!

We decorated the Scout Hall with endless lights and then danced, played and sang for about 2.5 hours.

In fact, we finished our final "show" dance in pelting rain, ending with a resounding and enthusiastic applause.

Sunday, April 2nd, found us in Leek Market place dancing to a large crowd of shoppers. We were joined by Uttoxeter Morris, each side took it in turn to perform and then we enjoyed sharing a few dances together.​
What a great evening we had,
dancing outside the pubs and wine bars in Leek.
Everyone wore red (or nearly red!)
and with our trusty band to play for us,
we danced the night away, while collecting for Comic Relief.

Penkhull Wassail

January 14th 2023
Six dancers and three musicians joined Domesday in their annual procession and Wassail in Penkhull on a bitter cold night.

A very cold and rather icy morning, but we ventured forth and managed a few dances before the Musician's fingers fell off!
Then we all went back to the lovely warm Scout hall and enjoyed a wonderful buffet.


THE MORRIS FEDERATION A.G.M.& DANCE DAY
September 24 -25th

 DARLINGTON

We travelled up to Darlington on the Friday, ready for the Saturday dance out.
There were about 17 Morris Sides altogether, dancing in selected areas around the town in groups of three.  As we moved around, we got to meet new dancers and different traditions,including sword and clog dancing. Although the weather wasn't too kind to us, it was good to socialise and enjoy each others dancing.
The Finale was held in the square where each side, in turn, got to perform one dance for everyone.
 

Leek Sunday Market - great fun this morning.

Biddulph Moor Well Dressing - June 18th

Our Italian friends from Este visited us during a practice night and joined in with the dancing.

On Saturday April 16th we had such a lovely time, dancing out at The Stafford Arms in Bagnall. What a friendly crowd.

A cold Dance out  at Leek Sunday Market but a coffee at the Foxlowe soon warmed us up!

We were joined by our friends, Uttoxeter Morris and had a most enjoyable morning.

On Saturday January 25th, 2019 some of Leek Morris enjoyed a lovely social evening at the invitation of Uttoxeter Morris, sharing wonderful food and making new friends.
